The mandatory $350 fee that funds the SEVIS system, which tracks international students and exchange visitors in the U.S. You have to pay it before your visa interview. No way around it. The U.S. side accepts USD-capable cards, money orders, Western Union Quick Pay, or certified U.S. bank checks. SEVISmate handles the whole thing for you in your local currency, so you do not have to chase any of it.

Depends on the plan. Basic is 5 to 7 business days. Standard is 3 to 5. Express is 12 to 48 hours. After we submit, the I-901 system takes another 1 to 3 days to generate the official receipt. Same on every plan.

Local debit or credit card, mobile money, or bank transfer in your currency. No USD card needed. No Western Union counter. We handle the FX and everything else so you just pay in the currency you already have.

Yes. SSL/TLS encryption end-to-end, the same standard banks use. Your personal info and payment details are never sold or shared with third parties.

It covers the cost of running this platform: cross-border payment processing, currency conversion, the dashboard, and the support team that picks up when something goes sideways. Your total charge is the SEVIS I-901 fee ($350 for F-1 / M-1 applicants, $220 for J-1), the mandatory $10 tax, and our service fee.
