Terms of service.

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of SEVISmate (“we,” “us,” or “our”) and our website, sevismate.com, including all related services that facilitate the U.S. SEVIS I-901 fee payment. By using our Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, stop using the Site and Services immediately.

1. Overview of services

SEVISmate is an independent filing service operated by Graymont Group USA LLC, a limited liability company registered in the United States. We complete the I-901 SEVIS fee step as part of our service. We are not a payment aggregator, money remitter, or financial institution. We are not affiliated with the U.S. Department of Homeland Security (DHS), SEVP, or any official U.S. agency.

2. User accounts

To use certain features, you may need to create an account. You agree to:

• Provide accurate and up-to-date information
• Keep your password secure
• Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that provide false information or misuse the platform.

3. Fees and payments

A. Service scope and charges

We charge a service fee for our payment processing services, separate from the SEVIS I-901 fee itself. All applicable fees are displayed clearly before you confirm payment.

B. Payment for our services

All payments for our services and the SEVIS fee are handled through secure third-party payment providers, with the SEVIS fee settled onward to FMJfee.com. We do not store your full card or bank details. You are responsible for ensuring your payment details are correct and your payment method has sufficient funds.

C. Refund policy

We complete the payment you engage us to make, so refunds are uncommon. Your payment has two parts: the official SEVIS I-901 fee, and our service fee for handling it. Separately, every payment carries processing, transfer, and currency-conversion costs that our providers charge us the moment you pay and do not return.

• If a refund applies, we keep a non-refundable processing and transfer fee of 15% of the total amount paid. This covers the payment, transfer, and currency-conversion costs already charged on your transaction. It is only ever applied to a refund and is never added to your purchase.
• The SEVIS I-901 fee is non-refundable once it has been paid into the official SEVIS system. From that point it cannot be returned, including if your visa is denied or your plans change.
• Once we have submitted your payment to the official system, our part is done. The fee can take a little time to post to your SEVIS record and for the receipt to appear, and that timing sits with the official system rather than with us. These delays clear on their own, so a payment that is simply taking time to show is not something we refund.
• Our service fee is non-refundable once we have begun handling your order. It pays for the work of handling and submitting your payment.
• If you cancel before we have begun, we refund the SEVIS fee portion you paid, less the processing and transfer fee above and, where work has begun, our service fee.
• If something goes wrong on our side and your payment genuinely does not go through, we will make it right and return your payment, less only the non-refundable processing and transfer fee described above. This is rare. More often, any hold-up is simply the posting delay covered above, which is outside anyone's control and clears on its own.
• Refunds are issued in the original payment currency for the amount we received. We are not responsible for differences caused by exchange-rate movements between your payment and any refund.
• To request a refund, email support@sevismate.com within 12 days of payment with your order details. Approved refunds are processed within 5 to 10 business days. Any refund beyond what is described here is at our sole discretion.

4. Your responsibilities

By using SEVISmate, you confirm that:

• All information provided is complete and accurate
• You are not under the age of 13, or the applicable minimum in your jurisdiction
• You are using the service for lawful purposes
• You understand that incorrect information may lead to delays or rejection of your SEVIS fee submission

We are not responsible for issues caused by inaccurate data you provide.

5. Prohibited uses

You agree not to:

• Use the Services for unauthorized or illegal purposes
• Attempt to reverse engineer or interfere with the Site's functionality
• Use bots, scripts, or other automated tools to access the platform
• Impersonate any person or misrepresent your identity

We reserve the right to suspend accounts or deny access to users who violate these rules.

6. Intellectual property

All content on the Site, including text, code, logos, images, and graphics, is owned by or licensed to us. You may not copy, reproduce, or use any of this content without our written permission.

7. Disclaimer

SEVISmate is provided “as is.” We do not guarantee that the Site will be error-free or uninterrupted, or that your use will lead to visa approval or entry into the U.S. You use the Services at your own risk.

We are not immigration advisors and cannot guarantee outcomes related to your visa process.

8. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent allowed by law, SEVISmate and its team will not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Services. If we are found liable, our total responsibility will not exceed the service fee you paid for the affected transaction.

9. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold SEVISmate, its team, and partners harmless from any claims, damages, or losses related to your use of the Services or your violation of these Terms.

10. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Wyoming, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles. By using the Services, you agree that any disputes arising in connection with these Terms or your use of the Services will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the state and federal courts located in Wyoming, regardless of your location.

11. Changes to terms

We may update these Terms at any time. If changes are material, we will notify you in advance. Continued use of the Services means you accept the new Terms.
